Over the years many customers have come to Geoflex looking for a solution to costly upgrades. In these conversations it has become clear that with good design planning between Geoflex and the customer, we can and commonly do achieve upgrades to the mechanical system without the need to tear out walls and affect the main building, ultimately reducing costs to the building owner. This is accomplished by the customer sending a base unit for replication or up- dating. Geoflex will then take that system and design the upgrades into a new chassis which is installed as a plug and play system, again without a disruption to the main building. Although this process is available to all Geoflex products, it is especially conducive to Ptac and Vertical Stack Systems which are traditionally built into the wall of the building within a sleeve but by leaving the sleeve and creating a new system to slide into the pre-existing sleeve, with exacting measurements, the cost savings are obvious and can be substantial.

Although Geoflex has a very wide staple product range, Geoflex can and commonly do manufacture products that are created to offer an exact retro-fit match to a given project. For example, in some circumstances and exact matching unit cannot be found as the previous company is no longer in business. Geoflex would assist the engineer, contractor or building owner to assess the existing product and have a copy sent to our factory then would design a unit or chassis to slide right back into the module on site to affect as little to no retro-fit wall or re-fit work that is commonly associated with retrofits.
